Special Event: In Conversation with Magdalene Odundo

Join Dame Magdalene Odundo in conversation with Catrin Jones. Odundo will discuss The Falcon Cannot Hear the Falconer, the monumental centrepiece created during her residency with Wedgwood.

Known for her refined sculptural ceramic forms, Odundo's residency saw her experiment with Wedgwood’s jasperware and sprig moulded ornamentation, inspired by Josiah Wedgwood’s letters with his friend, Olaudah Equiano.

Magdalene Odundo: The Falcon Cannot Hear the Falconer is on display until March 2026 at the V&A Wedgwood Collection.
