Recognising the significant steps we already take in our operations and marketing that contribute to sustainability, we aim to review and enhance these measures. This review will help us formulate effective communication content and identify areas for improvement. Additionally, we plan to implement further measures within our team to ensure sustainability remains a constant priority.
Starting our Sustainability Journey:
We recognise that World of Wedgwood already contributes to preserving craft, heritage, and the environment in some way. We are currently reviewing these using the Green Tourism Accreditation Criteria and identifying gaps or opportunities to improve our existing practices.
Within our teams at World of Wedgwood, we will:
Assemble a ‘Green Team’ of key procurement leaders focusing on sustainability initiatives. The team will meet quarterly at 'Sustainability Spotlight’ meetings to review progress, share best practices, and identify new opportunities for sustainable procurement.
Foster a culture of innovation and collaboration by creating a dedicated forum where all team members can share their innovative sustainability ideas. This platform will empower our teams to make a difference and identify needs and changes in our operation.
We will work towards a Green Tourism Accreditation to keep our sustainability efforts on track. The accreditation criteria will help us outline specific goals and opportunities to enhance our sustainability at World of Wedgwood.
