Join us this summer to explore the vibrant Victorian pottery style of majolica with our free, family-friendly Majolica Makes workshops for children aged 7-13.

Join us every other Friday over the summer holidays for the chance to go behind the scenes in our archives, explore the majolica on display in our gallery, and create a new craft each week. 

Workshop 1: The Natural World: Explore the Victorians’ amazement of the natural world, from monkeys to leaves. 

Workshop 2: Victorian Food: Discover the strange and unusual pottery that could be found on a Victorian’s dinner table. 

Workshop 3: Weird and Wonderful Creatures: From myths to monsters, explore the majolica creatures. 

Each session takes about 2 hours to complete.
