A Win For World of Wedgwood
We are delighted to have won the VisitEngland Visitor Attraction ‘Welcome’ Accolade, “awarded to attractions that give visitors a genuinely warm welcome and ensure they get the most out of their visit”.
At World of Wedgwood, we strive to make each and every guest feel welcomed and relaxed so they can enjoy a fantastic day with us. Our success in this award is a testament to our fabulous team, who each individually bring a warm and welcoming spirit, alongside exceptional service, to World of Wedgwood.
A Day of Celebration
On 22 October, our marketing team travelled to the British Motor Museum in Warwickshire to enjoy a celebratory lunch and accept our award. Our team had a fabulous day celebrating from start to finish, with a delicious 3-course lunch and great company in fellow Visitor Attractions.

Did you know that Tourism is one of the most valuable industries in the UK, supporting more than 200,000 businesses, employing about 2.6 million people and, in 2023, generating £70.5 billion in domestic visitor spending? We think that is something worth shouting about! Thank you to VisitEngland for recognising and celebrating the success of the Tourism Industry.
Congratulations to all the winners who highlight just how much England has to offer in the tourism industry. We were especially excited to share the day with so many other Staffordshire businesses, putting Staffordshire on the map as a must-visit!
Host With The Most!
We ended our day with a walk around the British Motor Museum- which was absolutely amazing! A trip to the museum is a must, for car enthusiasts to movie buffs alike. Our personal favourites included the Harry Potter flying car and the 1972 ‘Reliant Regal Supervan 3’ from BBC’s Only Fools and Horses.

To celebrate, our Head Chef Vicky and Pastry Chef Grant made the team cupcakes topped with our accolade! A delicious way for the team to enjoy their success.
