Wedgwood Cricket Club

Wedgwood Cricket Club is a very popular and friendly cricket club and a significant community hub, situated in the picturesque surroundings of the Wedgwood Estate in the heart of Staffordshire. Hosting teams for senior men and women along with their very popular junior section. The club provides Cricket for hundreds of residents every year ranging from age 6 to 60+.

Wedgwood Cricket Club has been running since 1942 as part of the sports and social element of the Wedgwood Factory. In that time they have hosted tens of thousands of people, both young and old using the training facilities, joining a training session or playing for one of the league teams. Hosting many events at the club throughout the year including the highly popular Wedgwood Festival, Barlaston Market and a Women's Cricket Festival.

Proud of their Wedgwood heritage, and along with the hard work of a lot of people connected with the club this has in turn led to on-field success. It is with this in mind that, as a cricket club they are actively planning for future generations and are currently working hard to further develop the junior section to help secure our long-term future for many more years to come.
