There's lots for families to see and do at the World of Wedgwood. As well as enjoying the Factory Tour, the Wedgwood Museum, decorating their own piece of Wedgwood in the Decorating Studio or letting their inner potter shine in the Master Craft Studio; we have indoor and outdoor children's play areas which will offer hours of fun for the younger visitor.
The outdoor play area features giant interactive pottery themed willow installations, designed by artist Tom Hare. Your children can run through a giant coffee pot, relax underneath a tea cup or even rope swing from a tea saucer!
Indoors, there is an enchanting Fairyland Lustre themed play room, named after the iconic Wedgwood collection, situated alongside our family friendly Dining Hall. Your little ones can let off some steam in our two ball pits, be swept away to a magical land in a book, or play with fun games and toys whilst you enjoy a refreshing cup of tea or coffee.
In addition, your little ones can become Museum explorers for the day as they discover interesting treasures in the galleries and experience stories about the history of Wedgwood. The Museum Trail is free for every child if they have a ticket into the Wedgwood Museum.
During the school holidays we will be running a variety of special family events, from crafty workshops to free pot throwing sessions. Please refer to our Events section for the latest updates.
