During the course of the First World War, 168 men, roughly a quarter of the total workforce, left the Etruria Factory to fight. Facing continued shortages of men, material and markets, the Wedgwood Company persevered during these difficult years.

Come along to The World of Wedgwood this half term and see the first Cast of Thousands Figures which have been created by The Willows Primary School.

You will also have the opportunity to create your very own figure that will be displayed during the British Ceramics Biennial 2019 by joining in the free drop in workshops.
