Unbuttoned with the British Ceramics Biennial | FREE workshop

Sunday 13 May 2018 | 12pm – 2pm

Join Artist and British Ceramics Biennial Studio Manager, Jo Ayre alongside flower makers Rita and Jean to make your own bone china button that will form a banner that will be carried in a procession in London on 10th June as part of PROCESSIONS.

PROCESSIONS celebrates the fight for suffrage and expresses what it means to be a woman today. Text and textiles are at the heart of the project. In the months leading up to the processions, the public are taking part in a nationwide creative programme of banner-making.

British Ceramics Biennial are proud to be working with communities across Stoke-on-Trent to deliver an expressive banner and iconic artwork that echo the artistic practices of the women’s suffrage campaign.

World of Wedgwood are delighted to be working with the British Ceramics Biennial on this nationwide creative programme. We would love you to join us for this FREE workshop at The World Of Wedgwood.

Tickets to the workshop are FREE but you need to secure your place by registering here
