This half term visit World of Wedgwood for a great day of discovery!

With fun creative activities including Halloween pottery painting and the Big Draw to Factory Tours and Museum Trails with, free Museum entry for everyone, every day and free Factory Tours for under 12's Monday – Friday!

Monday – Friday 10am – 5pm | Saturday & Sunday 10am – 4pm | Clay Shapes £3.50, Pumpkins and Pots £5.00 each

Take a seat, pick up a paintbrush and get creating your spookiest designs! Choose from Pumpkin tealight holders, spooky clay shapes and plant pots to make a scary planter! No need to book but arrive early to avoid disappointment.

Pot Throwing and Ceramic Design, make a unique Christmas gift
Monday – Friday 10am – 5pm | Saturday & Sunday 10am – 4pm

Choose from throwing a pot in the Master Craft Studio and designing your own piece of Wedgwood in the Decorating Studio. Creative activities for children (and adults!), available every day from 10am. All of the activities make a unique souvenir of your visit or a special gift to be treasure for years to come. There’s no need to book, all activities are run on a first come, first served basis, arrive early to avoid disappointment.

Learn how to throw a pot on the potter’s wheel in our Master Craft studio, with help from our skilled team to make your own pottery masterpiece! Approximately 15 minutes, £10 for firing and collection. Recommended for ages 6 and upwards, children must be tall enough to safely reach the wheel to control the clay. You can paint your fired pot at home to personalise it with your own design.

Get creative and draw your own design to be transferred onto a Wedgwood plate. Using pencils, crayons and felt tips you can let your imagination go wild to create a piece of art to be treasured forever. Allow at least 30 minutes, prices from £10.00 for a 12cm plate with a decorative finish.

The award-winning Factory Tour is available Monday to Friday*, 10am to 4pm with last entry at 3pm and is free for under 12’s! Take a guided or self-guided tour to discover how Wedgwood is made and see the craftsmanship in action. Guided tours can be booked on arrival and are subject to availability.

The Wedgwood Museum is free entry for everyone, every day 10am to 5pm. Discover the history of over 250 years of ground-breaking design and production. Younger visitors can take the Pottery Spotters trail which will guide them through the UNESCO recognised V&A collection, with a prize for every completed activity sheet. Our youngest visitors will enjoy our new dog themed trail, find the cute canines hiding in the museum and collect a prize when you find them all.
