There’s something for everyone from fun creative activities, factory tours and half price children’s meals* to our children’s V&A Collection Trail with a prize for every child and an invigorating nature walk through Hem Heath Woods.

Plus, free V&A Collection entry for everyone, every day and free Factory Tours for under 12s, Monday – Friday.

Create: Pot Throwing, Pottery Painting and Ceramic Design.

Three creative activities for children (and adults!) to choose from, available every day from 10am. With each of the activities you can make a unique gift and an extra special Father’s Day present that can be ready for 21 June. There’s no need to book, all creative activities are run on a first come, first served basis.

Get hands on with Wedgwood’s unique Jasper clay and create your own pot on the potter’s wheel in our Master Craft Studio, where our studio’s team will guide you as you learn the art of pot throwing. Takes approximately 15 minutes, £10 for firing and collection.

Get creative and design your very own piece of Wedgwood bone china, using pencils, crayons and felt tip pens. Using inspiration from the collection, you can let your imagination go wild. Allow at least 30 minutes, prices from £30.

Younger visitors love our Pottery Painting activities. They can choose from biscuit ware (unglazed) cut out shapes including hearts, flowers and stars, plant pots and vases. Allow 30 minutes, prices from £5.

Explore the Factory Tour, V&A Collection Trail and Nature Trail.

Our fascinating fully guided Factory Tour is available Monday to Friday and it's free for under 12s! As all Factory Tours are fully guided, they must be booked in advance and are subject to availability.

Entry to the V&A Collection galleries is free for everyone, every day from 10am to 5pm. Discover the history of over 260 years of ground-breaking design and production in one of the most important industrial collections in the world. Younger visitors can take the Pottery Spotters trail which will guide them through the collection with a prize for every completed activity sheet.

Explore Hem Heath Woods as you stroll the network of paths and discover the trees, woodlands birds and wildflowers that inhabit this Staffordshire Wildlife Trust nature reserve. A walk around the woodland takes around 25 minutes. It can get muddy, so if the weather has been wet don’t forget your boots!
