The Big Draw, PLAY! | Children’s Colouring Activity and Competition

Monday 1 October – Sunday 4 November 2018
Daily in the museum 10am – 5pm | Free drop in activity

Come along and join in the World's Biggest Drawing Festival with our Wedgwood Pageant themed colouring activities and competition.

The theme for this year’s Big Draw is ‘Play’; the Wedgwood pageant in 1930 showcased everything that is great about the potteries, telling the story of the history in a fun, exciting and playful way. We’re inviting our younger visitors to create their own potteries themed costume design with the chance to win their design on a decorative plate and World of Wedgwood goodies.

Children can take inspiration from the film footage, museum collection and original drawings by Gordon Forsyth, of characters like Prince Gas and Ceramic Queen to create historical or contemporary character costume.
